Meet Dr. Dana Craig

Orthodontics is a unique and wonderful profession. I’ve seen patients undergo a transformation from a covered smile to a beaming, confident grin. Giving kids a smile they can proudly show off is an incredible feeling. And for adults who have lived their whole lives feeling self-conscious about their teeth, it is never too late for a smile transformation!

I believe that a smile is the most beautiful thing you can wear, and I LOVE helping people achieve a smile that they can feel good about. My team and I truly care about our patients, and we work together to make the orthodontic experience easy, fun, and enjoyable for all the kids and adults who come to see us.

Education and Continuing Education

I grew up in Sandy Lake, and attended Lakeview High School where I met my future husband, Dan. After high school, I attended Slippery Rock University for three years and studied biology. After getting married in March 2008, Dan and I moved to Fayetteville, North Carolina, where he had been stationed as a soldier in the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army.

I completed my fourth year of undergraduate studies at Methodist University in Fayetteville, and then attended dental school at West Virginia University. I graduated in May 2013 with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Afterward, I completed a 30-month orthodontic residency at Seton Hill University in Greensburg to earn my Master of Science in orthodontics.

As an orthodontic specialist, I understand the importance of continuing education. Graduation does not mark the end of the learning process. As technology advances, there is always more to learn! Patients deserve to know that their orthodontic specialist is staying up to date on the newest techniques and technology available in the field.

Outside the Office

In 2015, Dan and I moved back to Sandy Lake and celebrated the birth of our daughter Keira. We are very happy to be back in western Pennsylvania! Outside of work, I love reading, spending time with my family, watching my daughter grow like a little weed, taking long walks, snuggling with my three cats, and improving my limited cooking skills.

In the past, I have enjoyed volunteering at events like the Mission of Mercy in Pennsylvania, TeamSmile, and Sealant Saturday. It is so rewarding to be able to spend time helping kiddos, and I look forward to becoming involved in more community events!
