I came into the orthodontic field in 2009 and have been with Dr. Smith ever since! I love working with people. Dr. Smith changed my life when I was a patient in his office by improving my smile. I always want to make the patient as comfortable as they made me feel during my treatment. My office duties include taking new patient records, putting braces on, taking braces off, and helping with other tasks in the office that happen behind the scenes. It never feels like a job, though, since I get to do something I love with people I love!
I was born and raised in Pittsburgh and moved to Meadville when I was ten. When I’m not helping Dr. Smith and Dr. Dana create beautiful smiles, I enjoy playing sports, fishing, and spending time with my husband James and dog Moose.
I earned my Associate of Applied Science in dental technology in 1990, and after working as a lab tech and assistant for several years, I joined Dr. Smith’s team in 2015. I go over all aspects of a treatment plan with the patient and the parents and set up payment plans. It’s been very rewarding to work with such an amazing group of people. We all appreciate each other and treat each other like family.
I’ve been married to Greg since 1997. We have a daughter, Cassidy, born in 2005. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and am active with the VFW post 169 in Venango.
I take care of all the behind-the-scenes accounting for the practice, where I’ve been working since 1993. I order supplies, pay the bills, and try to make the office environment enjoyable for our patients and staff. I love seeing the positive impact that a beautiful smile has had on so many of our patients’ lives. I’ve met so many wonderful people over the years, and it’s been great to build relationships with our patients and their families.
Dr. Doug and I have two sons, Zack and Derek. We also have a spoiled dog named Corky. I love spending time with family and friends, skiing, and going to Disney.
I started working with Dr. Smith in August 2007, after completing a dental assisting program at Great Lakes Institute of Technology. However, my first experience in this office was when I was a patient! I had a great time here and became more confident about myself, and I wanted to help others have that same feeling. As an assistant, my main duties are clinical assisting, sterilization, and taking new patient X-rays, photographs, and study models.
I am happily married to my husband Richard. We had our first daughter Leah in April 2015. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing outside with my daughter, and shopping.
Scheduling and Insurance Coordinator
I joined Dr. Smith’s team in May 1994. From our front desk, I take care of everything from greeting patients and scheduling their appointments to processing their insurance. I feel very fortunate to work with Dr. Smith in this warm and caring environment. It is very rewarding to see the transformation of smiles and confidence. I feel blessed to share in the lives of all of these people and their families.
I am a lifelong resident of the Conneautville area. My husband Terry and I have three adult sons, all of whom are married with families of their own. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family, especially my grandchildren, and I also enjoy walking, gardening, and quilting.
I started working at Dr. Smith’s office the day he opened his practice in 1993: first as an assistant, and now as our billing coordinator. I love my job. It’s great to meet new people. In orthodontics, you have a chance to build great relationships with patients. I also love seeing the confidence that people gain from having their teeth straightened.
I live in Conneautville with my husband Doug. We have two children: Stacy, who married Tim, and Brett, who married Heather. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, taking walks in the woods, camping, and playing games.
I work with Dr. Doug to welcome new patients to our office and assist him in creating their new, beautiful smiles. I enjoy working for Dr. Doug because he is so laid back and patient. The past four years have been a true pleasure. Of course, there is nothing better than seeing the transformation that a great smile makes in a person!
I have lived in this area for my whole life. I enjoy all of the seasons that the Meadville area has, but my favorite time of year is summer. I enjoy gardening and spending time on Presque Isle. All year long I enjoy making memories with my friends and family.
